Toronto police mistook Raptors fans cheering for gunshots

The Raptors and Heat began their Eastern Conference Semi-finals with a thrilling overtime battle that had fans throughout the city riled up, and some were so noisy their neighbors mistook the celebrations and agony for something more sinister.
During the game the Toronto Police Twitter account announced officers had been sent to look into a report of gunshots fired, less than ten minutes after Kyle Lowry hit his half-court buzzer beater to extend the game. The account came back a short while later to let everyone know it was just some overexcited NBA fans.
